Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using this Member Portal. By accessing or using this Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and accessing this Member Portal, you acknowledge that you are a registered member of Verona Huruma Sacco and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable SACCO by-laws.
2. Eligibility
Access to the Portal is restricted to Verona Sacco members with valid membership numbers. Confirm that all information provided during registration is accurate and up to date.
3. Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You agree not to share your password and to immediately notify the SACCO of any suspected unauthorized access.
4. Use of the Portal
This Portal is intended for your personal use only. Prohibited activities include:
- Unauthorized access or misuse of other members' accounts.
- Attempting to hack or reverse engineer the Portal.
- Using the Portal to conduct illegal or fraudulent activities.
5. Data Privacy
Your personal and financial data will be processed in accordance with the SACCO’s Privacy Policy. By registering, you consent to the collection and processing of your data for legitimate SACCO operations including communication via SMS, email, or phone.
6. Electronic Transactions
You agree that your digital approvals and submissions (e.g., loan applications, guarantor consent) are legally binding and may be treated as written consent. The SACCO is not liable for losses caused by system delays or internet interruptions.
7. System Availability
We strive to maintain 24/7 availability of the Portal. However, the SACCO does not guarantee uninterrupted access and shall not be held liable for downtime or system maintenance periods.
8. Termination of Access
The SACCO may suspend or terminate your Portal access without notice if:
- You cease to be a member.
- You violate any SACCO policies.
- The Portal is discontinued.
9. Limitation of Liability
The SACCO shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses resulting from use of the Portal, including but not limited to data loss, unauthorized access, or system failures.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya.
